For the
power and distribution transformers is manufactured
from various grades of CRGO steel. As transformer
lamination have to be done according to different
specifications given by customers, the whole process
is carried out in one section itself so that
flexibility and better control can be achieved.

Lamination in various
shades and sizes are slit and are cut in required accurate
geometrical shapes with 90 degree and 45 degree cutting systems.
Various machinery is used throughout the process.
Firstly, the slitting machine is used to slit the CRGO. In this
process minimizing the burrs is very important aspect. Then
shearing angle is checked for a perfect match at the edges during
initial setting. Shearing machine is used for this purpose.
After this, the materials are hole punched and ‘V’ notched using
the power press. For achieving accuracy, Tungsten Carbide tipped
tools are utilized for performing ‘V’ notching operation. Now at
this point of time, the material develops residual stresses
because of the sensitivity. To eliminate such stresses, the
laminations are taken to the Roller Hearth Annealing Furnace. The
processing in this furnace prevents any probable distortion,
shortens the cycle time and ensures that insulation is sustained
even at high temperatures.
At the end, the processed materials are brought in to inspection
department where it is thoroughly checked for its technical
details and its dimensions by QC professionals and forwarded to
packing department. In packaging department, the finished products
are packed in wooden pallets according to its size and a full
description of the material including technical details is
attached with the pallet and it is then dispatched to the
respective client.
Guarantee: Our transformers are guaranteed against manufacturing defect for a
period of 24 months from the date of dispatch.
